Job Description

Advans Myanmar, currently in its pre-operation stage, is seeking for 24 Customer Relationship Officers who will participate into the launch of the first Branch opening at Amarapura Township. The Customer Relationship  Officer will report to Pos Managers. Main task includes, but are not limited to:

  1. COMMERCIAL ACTIVITIES
  • Promote Advans Myanmar's credit products and its brand name to targeted community and potential clients on Group Loan products in his/her operating area to ensure a clear, transparent and accurate information for each client.
  • Provide commercial services to customers/clients with good communication, transparent and ethical behaviors
  • Build and maintain good relationship with local authorities (Chief of Quarter, Chief of Wards and so on), and other related networks.
  • To propose new products and services to his/her current clients
  • To identify clients’ needs and propose new products/services to the management
  • To ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service
  • Follow up client after disbursement to make sure that the clients’ status is updated and economic environment in order to reach quantities and qualitative objectives
  • Plan and sell Group Loan to clients at the targeted areas by ensuring the monthly disbursement objectives are achieved
  • Understand and apply the credit policies and process including analyzing risks of credits clients, business and its social and economic environment in order to reach quantitative and qualitative objectives

 

  1. LOAN ACTIVITIES
  • Daily check list of loans repayment to ensure that all reimbursements are made on time and promptly solved
  • To assist the clients for loan application
  • To conduct loan appraisal and to collect detailed information (personal, business, guaranties) on the field.
  • To present the loan request at the loan committee
  • To monitor the loan portfolio and to ensure timely repayment
  • To organize recovery actions in case of late repayment
  • To maintain a regular contact with clients by organizing visits on the field

 

  1. ADMINISTRATIVE ACTIVITIES
  • N/A

   ORGANISATION AND CONTROL

  • To prepare a weekly planning with expected tasks and visits to be done
  • T o share information and best practices with staff
  • To report all the issues related to the job to immediate supervisor
  • To analyse the client portfolio by using operational reports

Position Requirements

  • Hardworking, Commitment, Honesty and ability to communicate with people and local authorities.
  • Self-motivated person with good interpersonal skill.
  • Attention in details.
  • Bachelor degree or Associated degree in Banking and Finance, Accounting, Management and Marketing or related field
  • Knowledge of Mandalay, Amarapura and of Myanmar economic context;
  • Knowledge of the Microfinance/banking/Financial sectors and operations is an asset
