Job Description

The main mission of QC is to ensure Textile quality inspection performed following the company internal process and the customer’s requirements. you will represent AQM customer by going to their supplier’s factory to perform quality inspections and reporting product quality in a timely and accurate manner.

You will be able to:

  • Conduct textile quality inspections on site based on the textile industry requirements and the company practices. Textile control includes quality checking, conformity checking, measurement checking, functional test, packing and packaging verification.
  • Report product quality against the checklist and reference sample provided by the company.
  • Prepare and submit inspection reports within the timeframe.

Under supervision of the Country manager Myanmar, you will be in charge of performing textile quality control services:

  • To perform inspection in factory all over Myanmar
  • Prepare, implement and maintain QC procedures
  • Ensure the inspection as per buyer's requirement
  • Need to analyze the quality defects, check measurements
  • To fill the inspection report draft in English
  • To be able to prepare inspection in an autonomous way
  • Prepare and maintain QC documentation on inspections
  • Make a good feedback and reporting of all the encountered problems

Position Requirements

  • At least 2 years’ experience in garment / textile / shoes industry as trading QC (or similar position).
  • Technical diploma or higher degree in textile engineering.
  • English: Fluent written and spoken is mandatory.
  • Familiar with the quality inspection process and knowledge of AQL, safety and regulation standards.
  • Good computer skills in using Microsoft suite & usual software.
  • Familiar with textile and large goods production processes. Can understand quality standards to export garments in Europe.
  • You are Enthusiastic, team player, reliable, rigorous, honest, hard-working.
  • You should pay attention to details, have a communication and coordination skills and the capacity to deal with quality problems.
