Job Description

  • Maintaing current knowledge of laws and regulations, keeping abreast of recent changes.
  • Developing the annual compliance work plan that reflects the institution's highest risks that will monitored by the compliance function as determined by conductiong a mandatory annual risk assessment using an enterprise approach.
  • Providing guidance to the board of directors, senior management, staff and employees on compliance.
  • Overseeing and monitoring the implementation of the compliance program.
  • Reporting on a regular basis on the progress of implementation, and assistin gthese components in establishing methods to improve efficiency and quality of services, and to reduce the vulnerability to fraud,abuse and waste.
  • Coordinating internal compliance review and monitoring activities, including periodic reviews of departments.
  • Auditing the full set of account and report to the BOD's.

Position Requirements

  • Possess a degree in accountancy (B.Com, B.Act) and/or CPA or equivalent professional qualifications (E.g. ACCA).
  • Minium 10 years' experience relevant experience with at least 5 years in a managerial position.
  • Strong knowledge of Myanmar Accounting Standards and IFRS, Costing, taxation and corporate governance.
  • Strong planning, organisational, interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills and able to work under pressure.
  • Must be a team player, task oriented, ability to work in a highly dynamic, team environment and work with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong effective communication, reading and writing skills in both English and Myanmar.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Words/Excel, Powerpoint).
  • Must have External audit and internal audit experience.
  • SQL Accounting software knowledge is an advantage.
