Job Description

The fastest growing Retailer in Myanmar is looking for his new Marketing Manager. Reporting to the COO and working closely with him, you will be in charge with your team to define and implement the Marketing strategy of the CDSG convenience, Supermarket, Hypermarket and E-Commerce business. Once you budget defined, you will regularly track your spending and find ways to mitigate it. You will decide of the best repartition of your budget between Medias. You will follow closely up their respective efficiency and arbitrate between them. You will build a thorough understanding of the Myanmar market and a great knowledge of our customers so that CDSG can deliver a great shopping experience and answer the customers’ expectations.

  • Contributes to the formulation and development of annual marketing plan & strategies
  • Plan A&P Expenses for the year in relation to marketing plans and programs
  • Monitor A&P Expenses against budget on a monthly basis
  • Supervise weekly Social Media content (e.g. Facebook) as well as daily posting and monitoring of content from Marketing Executive
  • Work with IDG and Finance to Post-evaluate all marketing campaigns and promotions no later than 1 month after promotion end
  • Supervise and provide direction for product shooting for mailer (as well as F&B where relevant)
  • Ensure monthly mailer or other program is executed as per brief and on time
  • Coordinate with mall manager for brand sponsorship or campaigns
  • Coordinate with directors and producers on Radio / TVC production and provide local insights as and when required
  • Lead marketing events by providing leadership to all relevant parties
  • Provide leadership to in-house designers for creation of marketing /brand communication materials

Position Requirements

  • Education : Bachelor Degree
  • Specialized knowledge: MS Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint)
  • Abilities: Team player, visionary, energetic, great communication skills,creative, fluent in English.
  • Experience: Min. 5 years relevant working experience
