Job Description

  1. Improve business organization and risk management by providing reassurance on the effectiveness and efficiency of operations, the reliability of financial reporting, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  2. Provide management with an in-depth and unbiased understanding of the risks that the organization may be facing, allowing for pre-emptive planning
  3. Give company officers and directors forewarning of ethical and legal issues that the organization may be facing
  4. Access to information to enable them to evaluate risks, management activities, and personnel better
  5. Carry out his work freely without admitting interference, and as objectively as possible
  6. Render impartial and unbiased judgments, which are essential to the proper evaluation of management and controls
  7. View the financial actions, procedures and decisions in a detached way
  8. Advise management about compliance, risk management, internal controls and the board of directors regarding how to better execute their responsibilities

Position Requirements

  • BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus
  • Experience within (5) years Chief Audit
  • Experience in the financial sector with previous possible roles such as financial analyst
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports
  • Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations
  • Proficient user of finance software
