Job Description

  1. Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
  2.  
  • Support Business Manager in building up comprehensive Customer/Accounts information for analysis & strategy planning
  • Develop and grow sales on the existing & new customers.
  • Achieve and develop business for individual suppliers  
  • Support Business Manager to develop new suppliers or sources that fit into our target segments
  • Involve in business development in target market segments and identify new ones
  • Drive business development in target market segments and identify new areas for expansion
  • Responsible for effective sales forecasting, inventory control and DSO achievement. Assist in inventory planning and turnover, and be responsible for accounts receivables.
  • Establish product portfolio with key customers and market; continuously identify product needs and secure new principals to fill portfolio gaps.
  • Promote current and new portfolio of our Food & Nutritional ingredients to existing and potential customers.
  • Build and balance those relationships between principals and customers.  
  • Keep abreast of market and industry trends, competitors and leading customer strategies.
  • Conduct market survey and mapping exercise to identify the available potential of existing and new ingredients.
  • Co-ordinate efforts with the business community and other CBC offices where required.

Position Requirements

  1. Key Skills & Abilities
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in PHC Technology or related disciplines
  • > 3 years related years related working experience in sales of food ingredients or raw materials for food
  • Solid knowledge on food ingredients for different food segments, some experienced in R&D preferred
  • Solid track record in business development
  • Experience in foreign MNCs, or food ingredients distributor will be added advantage
  • Good computer knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English
