Job Description

  1. Primarily responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with doctors, pharmacists and other health care professionals.
  2. Arrange appointments with doctors, pharmacists and other health care professionals.
  3. Deliver presentations to doctors, practice staff and nurses in GP surgeries, hospital doctors and pharmacists in the retail sector.
  4. Stay informed about the activities of health services in a particular area.
  5. Medical representatives has to complete the task (target) within specific period of time.
  6. Medical representatives must also look forward to complying all policies and strategies of company.
  7. Building image of company.
  8. Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  9. Keep track of current trends and report to management regularly.
  10. Resolves customer complaints by investigation problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
  11. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  12. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  13. Ensure that all activities are in accordance with the guidelines of the EMP’s Code of Conduct and Myanmar’s legal system.

Position Requirements

  • Ability to effectively communicate

  • Personality: Self-driven, results-orientated with a positive outlook, mature, credible, reliable, tolerant, and determined.
  • Personal Situation: Able to spend five or seven nights away per month minimum without upsetting domestic situation. Able to communicate reliably to office base. Able to work extended hours on occasions when required. Able to work on regular evening and weekend work, shift work, working outdoors, working with challenging customer, and so forth may apply.
  • Literacy and Numeracy: Able to understand and calculate sales index, sales trends, expenditure.
  • Business and Selling Skills: Must be an excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator. Able to demonstrate success and experience managing major accounts customers.
