Job Description

  • FGCL is looking for Accountant position.
  • Daily process on AP, AR, GL, Inventory using Sage Accounting Software.
  • Prepare PO and Sales Invoices.
  • Petty Cash Handling and reconciling expenses reports.
  • Responsible for accurately entering and reviewing data transaction.
  • Responsible for full set accounts.
  • Prepare cash forecasts and perform stock check and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and process Commercial Tax (Import & Sales) and Corporate Tax (Advance and withholding).
  • Prepare and File Documents for Daily Transactions.
  • Maintaining Accounting Documents by scanning, collating and filing documents as required.
  • Collect cash & cheque from customer.
  • Daily/Weekly/Monthly accounts reporting.
  • Maintaining & monitoring Trial Balance Monthly report.
  • Monthly Report for Cash book.
  • Maintain bank reconciliation reports.
  • Maintaining the fixed assets register & making monthly depreciation calculations.
  • Monitoring, renewing & extension all company legal papers within statutory deadlines
  • Assist in preparation of local and oversea bank transfers, payments and deposits.
  • Collecting & Maintaining bank statements and bank transaction documents. And also, record Letter In/Out receiving and dispatching Copy, Fax.
  • Follow company rules and policies and make confidentiality to all Reports, Documentations, Data, Record, Correspondence, etc..,)
  • Communicate with other departments as required.
  • Performing any other duties assigned by the Management.

Position Requirements

  • Com (or) LCCI Level 3 (or) ACCA Level II
  • Must have good skills in using Microsoft office applications (Word and Excel).
  • English language skills are required, especially written English.
  • Understanding of Income Tax, Commercial Tax, Capital Gain Tax, and Withholding Tax & Stamp Duties
  • Ability to use computerised accounting software (MYOB or Other Accounting Software. Sage preferable.)
  • Minimum 1yr experience.
  • Ability to perform job tasks accurately and to identify errors and inaccuracies.
  • Good personality, communication and negotiation skill.
  • Ability to work under pressure
