About the Job

The ICRC Administration Department is looking for Domestic Staffs to be based in its Maungdaw office. The employee will be responsible for general cleaning duties which are important in contributing to provision of comfortable, safe and hygiene environment of office and residence.

Start date: as soon as possible


Duties and Responsibilities

  • You will provide domestic support including cleaning offices and residences
  • You will ensure that the premises area, furniture and equipment are clean, tidy and comfortable for all staffs and service users.
  • As part of your duties, you will check and supply refreshment and housekeeping items if it is necessary.
  • You will prepare coffee and tea upon request.
  • In addition, you will check the gas and water bottles and inform to supervisor whenever replacement is needed.
  • Furthermore, you will report to supervisor on any maintenance need.

About you

To be successful as the Domestic Staff in the Administration Department, you should possess the following qualifications and experiences and have the following characteristics:

  • It is required to have a middle school level.
  • You should have similar work experience in a relevant field.
  • You should have good knowledge of hygienic environment and comfortable to use cleaning products.
  • Your communication skills should be pleasant and you should have basic knowledge in written and spoken English as well as Myanmar language.


We expect you to have the ability to work with different groups, partners and nationalities. You should also be self-motivated with a strong commitment to teamwork and humanitarian principles. You should be flexible, enthusiastic and have the willingness to learn from others. You should also be able to work independently, as well as effectively under supervision. You should have the proven ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and cope with competing demands under tight deadlines. You should be able to exercise discretion and have the ability to establish and maintain good working relations in a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary environment.
