Job Description

  • Strong confidence in dealing with customers
  • Detailed Knowledge on sales activities
  • Provide customers with quotations
  • Persuading customers to buy advertising space
  • Offering a price and negotiating around it
  • Explaining the benefits of the media, using statistics on readership or viewing figures
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
  • Build strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • To work under pressure and meet targets
  • To visit potential customers for new business
  • Collaboration with Sales Team

  • Any Degree or related working experience
  • Minimum 2years experience in Sales & Marketing field, Advertising experience is preferable
  • A good telephone manner

Media Development Investment Fund (MDIF) is a US-based non-profit investment fund that provides financing and technical assistance to independent media in countries with a history of media oppression. MDIF is running a unique capacity building program for independent media in Myanmar. MDIF's Myanmar Media Program (MMP) is a three-year initiative to strengthen the business and organizational capacity of up to 12 media organizations, thereby focusing on vital aspects of capacity building for mediauntil now largely unaddressed. This is being done through an intensive coaching program tailored to theneeds of each media.Through this program, MDIF intends to increase the ability of the participating media to provide audiences with reliable news and information and contribute to the development of a strong and financially sustainable independent media sector in Myanmar.
