Job Description

In general:

The Product Manager will be responsible for growing the product portfolio while driving the product strategy by analyzing data, doing market and environmental analysis and engaging with the various touch points within the company

The role of the person is to track the performance of Red dot’s revenue streams, whilst pushing the products towards the business targets

The resource will work close with the Business Development, IT, Training, Customer Care, Marketing and Communications teams and aid any department when necessary

Key responsibilities include identifying and onboarding new partners, engaging with all stakeholders to devise and direct market promotions, measuring product performance, keeping track of the budget and any other activities required to make the our products commercially successful



  • Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product plans
  • Prepares weekly reports demonstrating the products performance against targets and plans
  • Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products
  • Obtains product market share by working with marketing to develop product sales strategies
  • Brings new products & features to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing return-on-investment analysis; establishing time schedules with IT and Marketing
  • Introduces and markets new partners by developing or monitoring time-integrated plans with Business Development, IT & Marketing
  • Determines merchant commission by utilizing market research data; reviewing performance in the market & working with Marketing to introduce merchant promotions to stimulate sales
  • Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
  • Track risks and issues such that the product is managed in a controlled manner
  • Maintains product team by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Contributes to team effort by helping in all Product activities as needed
  • Researches sources for developing prospective partners and information to determine their potential
  • Meets with potential partners, demonstrating our products’ benefits.
  • Prepares proposals & contracts for potential partners.

Position Requirements


Education. Higher degree diploma and above, a very good command of both Myanmar and English language

Experience. Product Management experience of at least 1 year. Minimal 3 years Project Management experience, Account Management is preferable. Preferred industry experience; IT, telecom

Computer Skills. Knowledge and proficiency of business software tools a must.  (Project, Excel, PPT, MS Word)

Communication skills. Excellent communication & presentation skills, both verbal and written. Must be comfortable presenting to Senior Management

Customer-service skills. To help build strong relationships with content partners by answering questions and complaints in a helpful and professional manner.  Must be resilient and be an effective convincer and influencer

Interpersonal skills. Creating positive interactions with customers is an essential part of the job

Problem-solving skills.  Must determine solutions to a customer’s problem

Mindset. Must be a strategic thinker who is results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment. Having initiative is essential, you must be able to be self-directed and take full responsibility for your work. You need to be flexible and willing to go work across the whole organization to understand the intricacies of your products performance.  This role requires knowledge of product management.  You must be highly motivated, well organized, detail-oriented, creative and innovative, and possess excellent analytical skills. You must be able to multi-task, prioritize correctly and execute work in a timely manner.  Influencing stakeholders and understand the target market and its dynamics is essential
