Job Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and execute strategy to drive sales and build customer loyalty through store programs including but not limited to; networking, promotions, events, and marketing.
  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfactions including handling complaints and provide resolution.
  • Use information technology to record sales figures, for data analysis and forward planning; managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control.
  • Deal with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff, conducting appraisals and performance reviews.
  • Maximize team and individual performance through consistent coaching and feedback using performance management processes.
  • Train and motivate all associates through on-going programs in sales, customer service and product knowledge.
  • Build positive working relationships with store team, senior management and brand partners to clarify priorities, share business insight and best practices.
  • Communicate openly to create an environment where all associates and customers are treated fairly and with dignity and respect, in accordance with our Company policies.
  • Protect company assets and minimize loss by ensuring all store standards and operating procedures are met including; workplace safety, risk management, merchandise management, and loss prevention.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedure, and follow all safety legislations to ensure safe work and shopping environment.

Position Requirements


  • Candidate must be willing to work in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.
  • Candidate must have Bachelor's Degree in Business Management/Administration or Equivalent.
  • At least 3 year(s) retail management experience is required for this position.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and POS systems.
  • Proficient in maintaining product display, store conditions and visual merchandising standards.
  • Must be skillful in providing outstanding customer service.
  • Trustworthy, diligent and organize in managing staff schedule and store operations.
  •  Availability to work on flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
