Job Description

  1. Establish internal audit policy and procedure manual in accordance to policies and procedures, Codes of Ethics of Internal Auditors
  2. Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
  3. Verify assets and liabilities by comparing and documentation
  4. Complete audit work papers by documenting audit tests and findings
  5. Appraise adequacy of internal control systems by completing audit questionnaires
  6. Comply with legal requirement issued by Office of the Auditor General of the Union by studying existing and new security legislation ; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
  7. Prepare special audit and control reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing operating information and trends
  8. Submit monthly audit report to Audit and Compliance Committee
  9. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related as needed.
  10. Maintain Professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops: reviewing professional publications: establishing personal networks: participating in professional societies
  11. Train auditing policies and procedures to all relevant persons.

Position Requirements

  1. At least 5 years experience in Accounting and Finance and over 5 years experience as Internal Auditor
  2. Advanced computer skills on Ms Office, accounting Software
  3. Proven Knowledge of auditing standards and procedures , laws , rules and regulations.
  4. High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
  5. Sound Independent Judgement
  6. or ACCA Part(II).
